Indivisible Joplin will Host Protest and Donation Drive on August 2nd to Support Community Needs and Resist Injustice

Indivisible Joplin and local activists will gather at the Praying Hands in Webb City on August 2nd from 9 am to noon for a protest and donation drive as part of the national Rage Against the Regime movement.
This event aims to transform frustration into action, standing in solidarity with our community against unjust policies affecting the working class and immigrants.
“We are gathering to channel our outrage into meaningful action and advocate for the essential benefits that support us all,” said Jenna Ehrhardt, a representative for Indivisible Joplin. “In a place that symbolizes hope and unity, we will come together in solidarity, channeling our collective anger into a powerful movement for change.”

DONATION DRIVE: We are collecting donations for Food Not Bombs Joplin to support our local houseless community. Please bring any of the following:
hydration packets
new or gently-used reusable water bottles
cash donations
This event is rooted in nonviolent action and is not a religious gathering, despite being held at a location with religious symbolism. We encourage all participants to engage peacefully and seek de-escalation assistance from trained volunteers in yellow safety vests if needed. In emergencies, please call 911.
