We are a local chapter of the national Indivisible movement, a grassroots organization dedicated to advancing progressive policies, promoting nonviolent actions, and fostering inclusive democracy.
Our mission is to build collective political muscle, elect local champions, and fight for a government that represents all Americans. We show up, speak with our neighbors, and organize to create lasting power in our community, ensuring a real democracy
of, by, and for the people.
OUR ORIGINS
The Indivisible movement began in 2016 as an online Google Doc guide created by former congressional staffers. From a humble beginning, it has grown into a nationwide movement with thousands of groups and millions of members.
We are committed to defeating the right-wing takeover of the American government and rebuilding a democracy that is inclusive and fair for everyone.
