Indivisible Joplin is hosting a protest as part of the Fight the Trump Takeover National Day of Action on Saturday, August 16!

The Texas House Democrats are denying quorum to stop the Trump takeover of Texas and block his attempt to rig the 2026 midterm elections. But Trump is also targeting Missouri and other states to steal Congress next year.
Texas will lead with an anchor rally at the Capitol in Austin, while we gather at state houses, city halls, and community spaces across the country to show our resistance.
Join us in solidarity with Texas Democrats in their fight against gerrymandering. Missouri will not fold!

Trump is pushing to gerrymander red states further into GOP’s favor because he knows he’s becoming wildly unpopular.
He’s cheating…
…but not all Democrats are laying down and playing dead while he does.
Texas House Democrats left the state to block a redistricting vote in the Texas House (and they’re receiving heavy fines daily and threats on their jobs and lives because of it)
They’re standing strong to protect our vote.
Some blue state governors are making plans for gerrymandering in favor of the Democrats, which they’ll use if Republicans follow through with their attempt to steal the 2026 election.
They’re fighting fire with fire.
Trump has made it clear that he’s not stopping at Texas. He’s targeting Missouri, Ohio, Florida and every state he can twist to help him steal Congress.
